This depends on the size and location of the skin cancer and how the wound needs to be repaired. A straightforward excision may be relatively quick, while procedures involving a flap or graft take longer. We will advise you of the expected appointment time when your surgery is booked.

Most pathology results are available within approximately one week, although some specimens may take longer if additional testing is required. We will arrange appropriate followup and let you know if any further treatment is needed. All results are uploaded to myhealthrecord.
